Interpreting is the process of translating spoken or signed language orally, which may be delivered in real-time (simultaneously) or consecutively. This activity involves ensuring that the original messages are conveyed accurately at the same time with preservation of the content, context, and tone. Preparation and practices are really significant for those who want to be an interpreter. This video is one among series of interpreting practices done by the sixth semester students (academic year of 2023/2024) at the English department, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Universitas Mahasaraswati Denpasar, Bali. The topic is Megibung, a unique Balinese culture that involves Balinese people having their meal together with other family members.
