I went to my local Rebuild site https://www.rebuildsite.co.uk and found a decent size piece of 18mm (just under 3/4 inch) beech plywood. I managed to get 7 squares 255mm wide (just over 10 inches).
I have made a couple of plywood bowls before, but that was quite some time ago, and definitely not this big!
The offset mounting gives the bowl a beautiful twist. It reminds me of the planet Jupiter!
The final bowl measures 250mm in diameter by 105mm tall (approx 10 x 4 inches)
Thank you very much for watching.
