In this video, Nick sits down with Fr. Cajetan Cuddy, O.P. and Dr. Matthew Minerd to discuss the question, "What is scholasticism?". Fr. Cuddy and Dr. Minerd define what the core tenants of scholasticism are, its accessibility to those from all faith traditions, and the history of its rise, fall, and resurgence.

Fr. Cajetan Cuddy, O.P., is a priest of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph. He serves as the general editor of the Thomist Tradition Series, and he is co-author of Thomas and the Thomists: The Achievement of St. Thomas Aquinas and His Interpreters. He has written for numerous publications on the philosophy and theology of St. Thomas Aquinas and the Thomist Tradition.

Dr. Matthew K. Minerd is a Ruthenian Catholic, husband, and father, Matthew Minerd also serves as a professor of philosophy and moral theology at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Byzantine Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA. His academic work has appeared in the journals Nova et Vetera, The American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly, Saint Anselm Journal, Lex Naturalis, Downside Review, The Review of Metaphysics, and Maritain Studies, as well in volumes published by the American Maritain Association through the Catholic University of America Press. He has served as author, translator, and/or editor for volumes published by The Catholic University of America Press, Emmaus Academic, Cluny Media, and Ascension Press.
