Surah Muzzammil is a Makki Surah and present in the 29th chapter, It consist 20 verses. It is named after Muhammad (S.A.W.W). Al-Muzzammil means “the enwrapped one” which relates to Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), as he used to pray whole night enwrapped in his cloak. In this Surah, Allah has commanded to recite the Holy Quran and pray at night. Not all night long, but some of its part. Allah has instructed to show full devotion towards him. He (Allah Almighty) has told his men about his love for those who wake up at night for the Tahajjud prayers. In the last verses, Allah told Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) about the severe punishment of Pharaoh and other damnations of Akhirah. These regenerative verses can enlighten the hearts and thoughts of a Muslim.
