Random thought: I want to get back into writing spoken word. All these events & emotions of 2020 have brought so much content for me to use as pieces in my work. It also brought heavy experiences. I was & still am on this see-saw of “ inspired to write” & “Oh this is a lot, I need to slow down & take care of myself.” Also, where does see-saw get its name? Is it from the noise it makes or is it a metaphor of teetering between present & past. “I see” vs “I saw”

This is a series about me really putting in effort toward the relationship with myself. I want to be more intentional & present with myself. This is a relationship of mine that I didn’t realize I was neglecting. I’m gonna start actually showing up for myself. Most of it probably won’t be on camera but I’m still so excited to see the progression in these snippets!
