The key to overcoming laziness is to find what uniquely motivates and works for you. But these 7 out-of-the-box ways of hacking laziness will make you a more productive and less lazy human being.

1) Theme each day of the week: Assign each day of the week a specific theme or focus. For example, practice mindfulness on Monday for planning and reflection, or knock out important and challenging tasks of the week every Tuesday.

2) Random Task: Make a to-do list and then randomly assign yourself one task to do. This adds an element of surprise and fun to your daily routine.

3) Changing your narrative: Instead of saying "I have to," start saying "I get to." This small language change can shift your perspective from seeing tasks as burdens to opportunities.

4) Dress Up for Productivity: Even if you're not going out, dress up as if you're going to a professional or important event. This can psychologically prepare you to be more productive.
