The NOAA Southeast and Caribbean Regional Team hosted a live webinar from the tarmac of Reagan National Airport near Washington, DC, on May 3 during the NOAA Hurricane Awareness Tour. NHC Director Ken Graham emceed the webinar and interviewed NOAA Administrator Dr. Rick Spinrad, Hurricane Hunter crews from the NOAA Aircraft Operations Center and the Air Force Reserve 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, as well as several meteorologists from the National Hurricane Center.
