This is the flooding around my house in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I live on Alvin Street. The water level got up to around 11 feet, from what I understand. If it had gone up only a few more inches, my house would have been completely flooded. I have no flood insurance- THANK GOD IT DIDN'T FLOOD!!!!
