Our first clip sees Rail Operations Group tri-mode locomotives 93001 and 93002, built by Stadler Rail in Valencia, arriving into Melton Mowbray hauled by Europhoenix Rail's 37218 (on hire to ROG) on the 5Q58 from Castle Donington EMDC on 31st August 2024. The 93s were moving to RIDC to commence five days of testing at up to 110mph. Also in the formation were Eastern Rail Services mk3 vehicles 12021, 12064, 12098, 12091, 11078 and 11095. These former Abellio Greater Anglia coaches were being used to support the Class 93 testing programme.

Our second clips take place at Asfordby on 2nd September, with 93001 working under its own power for the first time at the test track (albeit in diesel mode) as it is prepared for an afternoon of 110mph testing, taking place between Widmerpool and Plumtree. Mk3 11095 is also in use here with GB Railfreight's 47749 'City of Truro', currently outbased at RIDC as a shunt locomotive, acting as a support locomotive.

The final clip features 47749 looking and sounding absolutely superb, as it opens up through Upper Broughton on the evening of 2nd September, returning 11095 and 93001 to Asfordby following a successful first phase of testing.
