My favorite appearances of Hopper's character throughout the film Blue Velvet. Warning: spoilers & very explicit s/a content. I intentionally am not including scenes of him performing assault, as it's unnecessary outside the context of the film.

Blue Velvet is one of David Lynch's earlier films, and one of his most critically significant. It's framed as a sexual nightmare, and is a weird, disturbing watch - especially if you're unfamiliar with Lynch's style.

What's odd about this film is how cogent the plot is given its demonization of sex and assault, as opposed to other film plots of his which are drenched in a fuguem (Mulholland Dr. or Lost Highway).
