This is a short video about a TELEFUNKEN V504 vintage tube mixer from 1954. The mixer was refurbished and modded by vintagetools. The modification makes it very usable in modern studios and it can be used as a mixer, tube saturater, mic preamp or line driver with a nice sounding tube equalizer. The overall amplification is over 70dB and the channels alone have a gain of around 32dB, so you can compare the unit as 4x V72 or 3x V72 and 1x V76 preamps with eq. We had no time to properly cut the video or do overdubs, so excuse the quality and all uncorrected english. Enjoy.
