August 1, 2024 - Pete went for a solo trip in the badlands of John Moore’s Krumm Spring pasture with John’s two dogs Tango and Cash. We moved a couple dries and a bull up with the other critters in Deadman pasture, then travelled over the ridge and dropped off into Krumm. We didn’t see the colts on this trip, but we did check water gaps and water sources in the pasture. It was a hot one, but I made sure to stop at every water source we came across to let the dogs cool off. Pete handled great, and crossed all manner of country, from navigating the treacherous rough gumbo coulees to galloping across the open prairie. It was a good trip!
