Built this firewood processor a couple of years ago. When I needed with help with something I asked the advice of a machinist friend of mine.
It stared out as a logsplitter with a conveyor but I've been adding things here and there to it since I've started and don't see myself done with it any time soon. besides I still have a valve handle that's not being used, yet.
Yes, it's not the fastest or the biggest but it gets the job done.
It will take a 18" round log with few problems. Now, when they're crooked, as logs tend to be, a peevee is a nice tool to have.
