In this video I build the ‪@SteveRamsey‬ lumber cart. I needed to upgrade my lumber storage in the shop, and this lumber cart was easy, cheap*, and fast to make. Over the course of a weekend, I built this lumber cart to house all of the small odds and ends, plus sheet goods, in my shop. What was amazing is that I didn't even fill it up 75% with the lumber that was all over my shop.

No voice in this video because Steve Ramsey's plans are already great for building this on your own. Pick them up for free in the link below.

Overall, this lumber storage cart took just two and a half sheets of 3/4" plywood, glue, screws, and four 3" casters. You might notice my plywood is a little odd-looking. I buy my sheets at the lumber yard as "rejects". Usually, this means the top veneer isn't well adhered or is splitting, which is fine for shop projects like a lumber cart. The reason I buy them is because they're about 50% off the price of a normal sheet of plywood from the home center, so I save a ton of money. Worth checking your lumber yard if you have one near you!
