In April 2023 I was admitted to the stroke ward at Darenth Valley hospital for 10 days after stroke like symptoms. This is where I met the Neuro team who were absolutely amazing and really wanted to help me after 2 years of debilitating symptoms.

I could barely walk and my legs and gait were stiff nd I kept having seizure like episodes. After a week in hospital the Neuro team gave me a diagnosis of Hemiplegic migraines and FND. I'd never heard of any.
