This is a lyric video I made for my all-time favorite song, Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty, released in 1978. The song won the 1979 Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically, and its saxophone riff is notoriously well known for being one of the greatest of all time in a rock song.

Gerry Rafferty passed away on January 4, 2011 at the age of 63. He may be gone, but his music and talent will live on forever.

I remember hearing this song for the first time on the radio just before 5am on May 1, 2005 at the age of 13. I was staying up all night drawing comic strips and it came on just before sunrise. I fell in love with the song immediately. I've uploaded the radio edited version simply because it's the version I grew up with and loved the most. The original longer, slower version is very good too, but I've always loved the faster tempo in this version.
