The Cleveland Division of Police has released multiple photos from last weekend's street takeover.

"Street takeovers have proven dangerous for the participants, observers and non-involved citizens. Safety is the top concern and there’s an urgency to locate the suspects," said Cleveland police in a press release.

Several incidents impacted multiple locations in Cleveland late Saturday evening into early Sunday morning as suspects stopped traffic, pointed guns at people, lit fireworks and attempted to start fires.

Cleveland Police Chief Annie Todd told Cleveland City Council that the first report of activity came from E. 55th and Woodland at around 11:30 p.m., and then more and more street takeovers started popping up, dividing police resources.
