Shimano and Daiwa, whose reel runs superb? Not sure if there will be a correct answer. Both being top notch performers, it makes less sense to say which one is out performing the other. However, looking back for 20 years of modern fishing reel history and milestones, I found some interesting difference in terms of the way both companies roll out the tech updates on the fishing reels.
