What to do when gross finish issues like these stains ocurr?
Making a good piece of furniture takes lots of time and affort to get cought by a finish disgrace like this one.
The finish quality is more dependant on the surface preparation than the quality of finish aplication.

In this video we'll see how to eliminate gross glue stains, correct the surface and re aply the finish but this time right.

The finish consists of 2 stages. The first one is only color for the wood. The product used is Pre Color Easy from Rubio Monocoat.
The second stage is the protective Oil Plus from Rubio Monocoat also.

During the video I explain the different steps to follow to achive the correction. I make use of the scraper card to quickly remove the previous finish and also thin wood shavings to be sure there wont be more stains. If you dont have or dont know how to use the scraper you can use sandpaper (80-100 grit) but it takes longer.
