Cathe's Functional Lower Body Workout: In this complete lower body routine we’ll use moderately weighted dumbbells for a variety of leg and glute strengthening exercises. Both a fabric loop and a firewalker loop will be used to add additional challenges. A high step will be used to work on balance as well as stepping up and down movements. Leg strength and power are important for balance, mobility, and independence as we age.
