When hooking up your sewer connections to empty your RV black and grey water holding tanks, always start at the sewer and work your way back up to the RV. That way, if there are ever any issues, you can shove the hose in place and the wastewater will be funneled into the sewer. Additionally, you'll hear that you should always empty your black tank first, then follow it with gray tanks to flush out the hose and the accessories, BUT here's a tip to consider for the first dump after hooking up your hoses. Open the gray tank for five seconds to leak check the system, then close it, empty the black tanks, and follow it by the rest of the gray tanks. If there is a leak, like the bottom of the bayonet fitting missed its mark, you'll be able to leak check it and find out with a greywater oopsie instead of a blackwater poopsie.
