The best way to get over the end of 'summer' is to embrace the new season and all the fun handmade outfits you can sew and wear. In this video I'm sharing five of my favourite Autumn sewing patterns and outfits for some inspiration. I sewed many of these garments years ago and still reach for them time and again in my wardrobe. You can find links to all the patterns I share below and also my tutorial for how to add a tiered skirt to any bodice.

I like to try and continue wearing dresses and skirts for as long as possible in Autumn seeing as I know I will wear trousers a lot once Winter arrives. In the video I'll share my favourite wrap dress, a tiered maxi dress, a maxi skirt, a long sleeved, turtleneck mini dress and a jeans and blouse combo. I'll give you ideas and suggestions for bags and jackets and footwear too including block heel boots, favourite pumps or trainers and biker boots. These are outfits I wear every day and they work for a busy working mom lifestyle.
