In this video I will change the ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) and the ATF Filter on my daughter’s 2015 Mazda CX-5 Sport. Since the filter is inside the transmission pan, this will include dropping the pan, removing the old gasket, reinstalling a new gasket, and putting the transmission pan back.

ATF (AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID)
Mazda ATF FZ. When changing the ATF Filter, purchase 5 quarts. When doing a drain and fill, it is either 3 or 4 quarts. I would recommend purchasing 4, keep the receipt, and return 1 if you don’t need it. I changed the filter so I cannot confirm if the drain and fill is 3 or 4.
