The Seattle City Council is set to vote Tuesday on a plan to put surveillance cameras in three crime "hot spots" in the city.
It’s part of a pilot program that would work with the city’s real-time crime center to address crime and gun violence.
So far $1.5 million has been earmarked for the project which would start with the Chinatown-International District, Third Avenue downtown, and Aurora Avenue.
