In this heartfelt conversation between old friends, Tanner Peake welcomes Brian Kim to the studio. Tanner and Brian recall their own shared commitment to be “a different type of leader,” and they discuss what that has meant in seasons of disappointment in ministry. The conversation covers vulnerability, redemptive joy, and the invitation to bring our full hearts to the Lord. If you have ever experienced—or caused—disappointment in ministry, this episode is for you.

Brian and his wife, Grace Kim, are the senior pastors of HOUSE, a local church in Denver, Colorado. Together, they have led various prayer and church movements, and they carry a passion to serve the church to walk in vibrant faith. Brian has also been connected to Every Home for many years and spent time on the ministry’s board of directors.
