Coming to the lockout season of 2012-13 Crosby this time played majority of the games only missing 12 out of 48. Crosby was leading the entire NHL for February and March by a mile until he got injured by a slapshot from Brooks Orpik on March 30. He had to miss the remaining games. Crosby ended up being 4 points back from Martin St Louis for the Art Ross despite missing 12 games. He racked up a great 41 assists and 56 points. He did end up getting his second Ted Lindsay Award.
