Come along with us as we venture DEEP into this Alabama Cave. While it has a very beautiful nearly 200 foot pit not far inside the entrance, the rest of the cave is somewhat of a challenge and what we describe as Full Body Contact Caving. Once you get through the tight parts, you eventually make your way to a second deep pit inside the cave that is over 100 feet deep. Once you reach the bottom of this pit, you are approximately 400 feet below the Earths surface in an area called No Mans Land. It's called this because it is so remote, that if there were an accident it would be nearly impossible to get you out of the cave.

Unfortunately, Jason was not able to make his way through the tight parts and was stopped at a 9 inch squeeze so he had to wait on the rest of us while we ventured on to rappel and climb the second deep in cave pit.

This cave turned out to be quite the challenge!
