Puri’s famous Jagannath Temple holds a prominent place of importance for devotees. It is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites in India, and is also well-known for the annual chariot festival or Rath Yatra. If various legends are to be believed, King Indradyumn built this holy shrine after Lord Vishnu blessed and guided him in his dreams to find Nila Madhava. The Jagannath Temple is known for its annual Chariot Festival when thousands of devotees gather in Puri to be a part of this religious spectacle of epic proportions. There are several unexplained science, mysteries and miracles surrounding the Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha. The historians, scientists, even priests and common people have been trying hard to solve these mysteries, with little success. The Odia people do not bother though.
