The TRUE BOXER STANCE as a SOUTHPAW and as an ORTHODOX boxer works just the same. The geometry in how this works nullifies the advantages either would have over each other BECAUSE the stance provides symmetry both offensively and defensively.

By maintaining this stance, your opponents sight picture DOES NOT change, limiting their capabilities. There is no asymmetry when you're looking down the barrel of a rifle. If your opponent scores, you WILL be able to identify what correction you need to make on the spot by ensuring you hold this stance.

BALANCE - Did I get caught because I reached on my jab? You can control that
GEOMETRY - Did I get caught because my stance was square, making myself a target? You can control that
