U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's visit to China takes place this July. Many media outlets predict she will meet with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng. As Xi Jinping's close ally, he replaced former Vice Premier Liu He. Traditionally, this position is the equivalent of the U.S. Treasury Secretary, in charge of China's financial policy. This has raised concerns about China's economic recovery, as the vice premier has a notable track record of building a ghost city in Tianjin.
