Many cars of the mid eighties to mid nineties used an Anti-lock braking system, known as the TEVES ABS.

This is a video produced for Chrysler Motor Corp.

The Buick Reatta was one of these automobiles that used this braking system. At the time- the TEVES was a "luxury" and "high end" option on some cars; on the Buick Reatta- it was standard.
