After learning of his illness involving complete loss of skin pigmentation, Bob Langmore realizes that if his secret is widely known, it will ruin the lives of his entire family. Not knowing what to do, he simply runs away from his wife Darlene and daughter Eva, secluding himself in a small northern town. Eight years later, when his daughter goes missing, Bob is willing to sacrifice everything to find her and bring her home.
