Pide al tiempo que vuelva (Somewhere in Time en su título original en inglés, Deja que el tiempo vuelva en otros países), es un filme de 1980 que mezcla drama, romance y viaje en el tiempo. Dirigido por el director francés Jeannot Szwarc (1939--), escrita por Richard Matheson y estelarizada por Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, Christopher Plummer, y Teresa Wright. A pesar de que la película fue bien recibida en los avances o previas presentaciones en pantalla, fue un fracaso de taquilla e inmediatamente desdeñada por los críticos. Su enorme cantidad de seguidores se dio a partir de su transmisión en televisión por cable, donde adquirió la categoría como filme clásico de culto. Esta película es una adaptación de la novela de ciencia ficción Bid Time Return ('pide al tiempo que vuelva') escrita por Richard Mathelson, la cual fue relacionada posteriormente con el filme. La cinta es conocida por la banda de sonido dirigida por John Barry, interpretada por el pianista Roger Williams y complementada por una variación de Serguéi Rajmáninov, Rapsodia sobre un tema de Paganini, que le otorgan un brillante respaldo al filme.


«The Scientist» (en español, «El científico») es el segundo sencillo de la banda inglesa Coldplay de su segundo álbum de estudio, A Rush of Blood to the Head. La canción fue escrita por el vocalista Chris Martin. Es una balada con un acompañamiento de acordes de piano que habla de un hombre que pide perdón a una mujer y le dice que la ama. Salió a la venta como sencillo el 4 de noviembre de 2002 y alcanzó el décimo puesto en la UK Singles Chart y el decimoctavo en el Billboard Hot 100.
