This is the first tape recorder under the name Revox, and was produced from 1951 till 1954.
The T26 is the direct successor, very similar, to the legendary Dynavox (that I will introduce you in a next video), the real first recorder developed in 500 pcs by Willi Studer between end 1949 and 1950 and sold through the Traco company in Zürich.

The first series of T26, like the specimen in the video, had separate, little covers for the heads and for the felts pushing the tape on the heads. Also the motor of the first series was produced by Micromotors in Basel and is different from the later german Papst.
