Welcome back. Thai Airways is famous for its long flight. With the Airline you can fly nonstop to Sydney and Melbourne at Australia or to European cities like London or Paris. Behind the long houl flight Thai Airways also has a domestic network where you can fly from BKK to Phuket, Chiang Mai. Join me on this video on a 90 minutes flight from Chiang Mai to Bangkok.

The flight:
I flew with Thai Airways in Economy class from Chiang Mai (CNX) to Bangkok Surhanabhumi Airport (BKK). I started journey at the Domestic terminal of Chiang Mai Airport. The process of Check Inn and Security Check were very quickly. During my waiting time for boarding I used my opportunity to have a look at unknown Airlines, like Vok Air or Bangkok Airlines.
15 Minutes before boarding my Aircraft an Airbus 320 200 arrived from BKK. Boarding was going very fast and just after Take Off the plane made a strong curve via Chiang Mai to the south.
Cabin service started nearly 20 minutes after departure with a snack box. Every passenger had the right to get two drinks. The seat also was conftable and more softer as a Economy class seat in a European Airline.
During the landing approach the plane flew into white clouds and landed exeacly at time at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.
It was for more years my best domestic flying experience.

About Thai Airways:
Thai Airways, one of the world most famous Airline and based at Bangkok Survhanabhumi Airport BKK is the national carrea of Thailand. The Airline connects flights from European Airports to countries in Asia like China, Japan and to South Korea. Also the Airline is daily flying to Australia to the famous cities Melburne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth as well. The entire fleet inlcudes 12 Airbus 350 900, 14 Boeing 777 300ER, 6 Boeing 777 200ER, 2 Boeing 787-9 and 8 Boeing 787-8 . For the domestic network the Thai Airways has 14 Airbus 320 200. In 2020 at the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Airline put its 16 Airbus 380 800 in storage. An other famous plane for Thai Airways is the Boeing 747 400 (Queen of the Sky). The Airlines still has 10 B747 in its fleet and use the Jumbo Jet some times for flights with a high numbers of passengers for long and also domestic flights like to Phuket. The entire Airline is suffering for more years from economical problems and since 2020 the half of the planes of the fleet are parked at BKK. This is the darkside of the Airline and only known by Aviation nerds and people who work in aviation and traveling.

This is footage from flight CNX-BKK. I had seat 22A. The plane got its fuel at BKK to Chiang Mai and back. The full flying time was 2 hour and 1 minute including push back, engine start and taxi way.
