This is the final episode of this repair! I finally completed this fender repair that was part of the wire tuck and subwoofer install. So, we had many snags in this whole process. Frankly I think what I did would have been a great repair if it weren't for the fact that I seemed to be unable to find the correct paint. To reiterate: At first I tried a black spray paint from a local paint supplier, they claimed it was the exact same as the onyx 202. I then tried the onyx 202 made by perfect match, but it has a metallic element to it, and my paint does not. I then finally tried the same paint supplier and they gave mixed me an onyx 202, and it still seemed too grey. (it was almost the same as the other can they sold me, so they were probably right about that)
Anyways, because I resprayed it so much, the final sanding left some spots that weren't covered enough. I quickly sprayed over those spots and tried to blend it all, but it didn't really work.
So, the subwoofers done, the fender is installed and its all good to go, but the paint is gross.
