Welcome to the Kansai International Airport Walking Video. Navigate through the terminals of the beautiful Kansai International Airport.

Kansai International Airport is currently undergoing a steady stream of large-scale expansion work in preparation for the 2025 Osaka Expo. Although some areas are closed during the construction, I came here to take movie of the airport as it is now.

The terminal building is limited to 25 million passengers per year, but construction is underway to make the terminal capable of serving 40 million passengers. In addition to the terminal expansion, the number of stores will be doubled.

Long-term plans include plans for additional runways and a new terminal.

First, construction of the retail area will be completed and open this winter. The next grand opening is scheduled for the spring of 2025, at the time of the Osaka Expo. We are looking forward to seeing the facilities that will open one after another in preparation for the Osaka Expo. Please enjoy watching them before they evolve.
