The Salish Heron has arrived in Victoria 😍

The ferry travelled over 10,400 nautical miles on a journey across the Atlantic Ocean, through the Panama Canal and up the Pacific Coast of North America.

Following inspections at Ogden Point, the Salish Heron will sail to our fleet maintenance facility in Richmond where artwork by Coast Salish artist Maynard Johnny Jr. will be applied to the hull.

The vessel which carries 138 vehicles & up to 600 passengers, will operate in the Southern Gulf Islands. It is the fourth Salish Class vessel to join the #BCFerries fleet.
