SHIP DESCRIPTION:
LEC’s clandestine R&D division leads is a leader in advanced stroneering technology, making their prototype ships prime targets for the Crimson Fleet. During a test flight in the Masada System, LEC’s latest project, codenamed “Darklighter,” was ambushed by the notorious Crimson Fleet warlord Voss. Using the storm clouds over Masada III as cover, Voss’ elite squadron overwhelmed the Darklighter’s support fleet and commandeered the ship. With capabilities surpassing any commercial ship in the Settled Systems, the Darklighter now enables Voss to continue his reign of terror.

Measuring just under 100 meters in length and 84 meters in width, the Darklighter is a unique heavy assault ship with agility rivaling nimble starfighters, thanks to its state-of-the-art propulsion system. Its standout feature is the use of Class M modules, including an oversized Reactor and Grav Drive, and frigate-level armor plating on its wing cowlings, ensuring unmatched hull and shield capacity. The reengineered Poseidon DT Engine system boosts power output equivalent to the tune of 8 stock DT-230s. Armed with chin-mounted Hellfire Repeaters, Wingtip Hellfire Autocannosn, a quad-proton torpedo tube system, and 360º turrets, the Darklighter is a formidable dogfighter, notorious for wreaking havoc across the Settled Systems.

- This ship is completely based on the Fury-Class Sith Interceptor from Star Wars. It came as a build request from a subscriber.
- This ship uses the paid Crimson Fleet Habs mod. Use whichever habs you prefer.
- This ship is a Class M build with Class C performance.
