The water scenes were filmed in a water park in Atlanta, and the water was just barely 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Lynn Cohen was exempt from filming her scenes in it as the director was concerned for her health and safety. During the scene where she’s carried on Sam’s back, he lost his footing, banged his knee on the rock, and they both fell into the water. He felt terrible for the accident, but Lynn thought it was hilarious. Also, during the scene where Katniss, Peeta, and Finnick eat raw fish, they’re really eating raw fish. Jennifer and Sam aren’t fond of fish, but Jennifer had the hardest time eating it.
