I opened for the Hi I'm Ghost and HVDES co-headline show at DNA Lounge in San Francisco under my Nebakaneza alias. For the last few years, I've been trying my hardest to expose this city to more Midtempo Bass sets, as no one else in this area seems to be doing so. Our city still books all the big headliners who produce Midtempo, like HVDES, Rezz, Whipped Cream, Blanke, 1788-L, One True God, Zabo, Kloud, Street Fever, Social Kid, Tokyo Rose, Lazerpunk, LICK, Zomboy, Eptic, and so many more, but for some reason when it comes to booking the supporting DJs, Bass promoters suddenly act like Midtempo is some foreign music that they've never heard of. They think the crowds won't respond well to it, but every time I've ever spun this sound to a crowd, I end up making them go absolutely nuts.

Anyhow, this was an early set. You can see the room fill up while I play. This was spun on two CDJs, with quantize/sync turned OFF. I created and edited an hour long video to go with it, which you can see on the big screen. This was mostly various clips from a bunch of sci-fi, dystopian, cyberpunk, futurism short films.
