Every year the BFI London Film Festival reminds us just how full the world is of extraordinary creativity, vision and talent for telling stories on film. These stories have the power to move us, excite us and inspire us in equal measure; they nurture the soul; they give us new perspectives on the possibilities in cinema today. In a long-held tradition at the Festival we will be bringing the pioneering filmmakers -from the most established and fêted to the emerging newcomer - here to London to present their work and to share with us their inspirations and aspirations. Creativity feeds our film culture in Britain; nurturing, showcasing and championing that creativity wherever it comes from around the world is at the heart of everything the BFI does every day. The capital will be a-buzz for the next fortnight - come and be a part of it!
