This year, the Brompton World Championship takes place in King’s Cross, London. The race is 4500 metres - five laps of a specially designed course that winds around Coal Drops Yard and Granary Square.

The fastest racers, driven by the desire to win a brand-new Brompton, get to ride home with this prize.

This video is about my first time participating in this cycling extravaganza and includes many highlights from the day. It was a mad dash from the start line to my bike, which I had to quickly unfold before embarking on a heart-pounding journey around the circuit.
