Do you know where is the best waterfall in Indonesia?
It's the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall in East Java. Tumpak Sewu in javanese means a thousand waterfalls, originated due to its appearance of many different waterfalls in one single, semi-circular area, with total height 120 metres. This waterfall is overshadowed by Mount Semeru, an active volcano and the highest mountain in Java. The primary water source for the waterfall is from Glidik river, which flows down Semeru.

We started from Malang city, which took one hour from Surabaya city by car. And from Malang city to the tumpak sewu waterfall, it took us two and a half hours by car.

Experiencing the falls from below was truly spectacular, even thought the process wasn't easy, it was an adventure and a new experience for us.
