Def Jam was one of the most fun fighting games that all my cousins would get together and play. Of course since I was the youngest I had to pay the little bro tax. I never got to even hold the controller, instead I'd have to sit there watching them play wondering If I’d ever get to play Def Jam Fight For New York . As I got older I was only fortunate enough to get my hands on Def Jam Vendetta and couldn't even play Def Jam Icon. As I got older I waited for years and years for the new Def Jam to come out so I could have the newest game possible, but unfortunately it never happened. I always wondered why and I’m sure a lot of you did as well. It turns out that there might be a simpler answer than we thought as to why we never got a new Def Jam game, and that same answer might be the reason as to why we may never see another one.
