80s hit for singer Cyndi Lauper, written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly.

Arranged for brass quintet by Sarah Johnson, a great friend who plays trumpet in my real-life quintet! The arrangement was inspired by her son Lachy, who has Autism. "Like all children and adults who are not neuro-typical, Lachy has so many special qualities that make the world a better place. I hope people can look past the disability and see his and others true colours."

Our group really enjoyed this at rehearsal a few weeks ago, and I'm excited to be able to share it more broadly here on my channel. It's a lovely piece of arranging, with beautifully melodic lines weaving through every part. Enjoy :-)

Instrumentation: 2 Trumpets, Horn in Eb, Trombone and Tuba. In the video I play the Tuba part on my Flugelhorn down two octaves.
