The key in navigating an uncertain world is to plan to adapt. It may seem paradoxical, but this precise dynamic is fundamental in capitalizing on opportunities. After theorizing that LinkedIn would be a prosumer individual subscription, I soon learned that the market had an unmet demand for a company version. We shifted our plans to focus on enterprise subscriptions and that maintains one of the major sources of revenue of LinkedIn to this day.
