The fishermen in a small town in California are highly anticipating the arrival of Canco, a salmon cannery company, because of its promise to bring jobs and prosperity. However, they learn that the cannery has also brought something that puts the whole town in danger. Monstrous creatures from the deep soon emerge and start attacking the townspeople. A fisherman named Jim Hill must team up with Canco's research scientist, Dr. Susan Drake, to fight off the sea monsters and prevent them from multiplying.
