Come along with us as we spend a day along the New York & Lake Erie Railroad. We will chase a newly repainted ALCO S1 and a pair of NY&LEs revered MLW FPA units on the entire trackage of the NY&LE, featuring some rare mileage along the railroad including the Cattaraugus Branch and South Dayton-Cherry Creek trackage. This charter excursion was organized by Jim Fetchero with the goal of riding on as many miles of track as possible, with some of the trackage covered in this video being recently returned to service. In addition, rare photo opportunities were organized for the passengers with assistance from the railroad.
