Ukraine’s Animagrad studio (FILM.UA Group) presents a video featuring a new scene from the most anticipated Ukrainian animated film MAVKA. THE FOREST SONG accompanied by a soundtrack “Vesnyanka” (spring folk song) by DakhaBrakha ethno band and showcasing a Ukrainian ritual dance of greeting a new spring. For the first time, the viewers will be able to see Mavka’s new unique image — she is wearing authentic Ukrainian garments. The creative team dedicated the video to the unbroken spirit and courage of Ukrainians.

The video contains the scene with Mavka, Lukas, and other characters celebrating spring at the village fair. The music playing in this episode is an original springtime song “Vesnyanka” performed by DakhaBrakha’s band players who will also appear in the film as animated characters of the village musicians.
